iPhone 6 Rumors: Apple to Launch Two Models in 2014
It’s quite evident that Apple is almost always consistent when it comes to creativity and innovation. Each year, they’ve presented their loyal users with new a iPhone model, and recently have released two models in one year. According to reports, Apple is already preparing the launch of two more models, possibly the iPhone 6, for the fall of 2014.
Too soon? Not for Apple! They will bring something different to the table, as they have in recent years, staying consistent. The rumor mill this time around is bigger, curved models. Reports have said the size of the iPhone(s) to be approximately 4.7 x 5.5 inch screens.
The reason for that could be the iPhone’s competition. Samsung has a variety of model phones that vary in size and price, and their sales are quite impressive. People need options, and Apple has taken one step in that direction with the release of the iPhone 5C, which was a more cost effective model than the iPhone 5S. Apple may be continuing down the road to diversity for its users, trying to gain a larger market.
According to Bloomberg’s article:
Two models planned for release in the second half of next year would feature larger displays with glass that curves downward at the edges, said the person, declining to be identified because the details aren’t public. Sensors that can distinguish heavy or light touches on the screen may be incorporated into subsequent models, the person said.
Clearly, Apple’s main purpose is to be better than their competition. If they’re noticing that the other half or so are buying Android’s products, due to a larger screen, then maybe it’s time Apple adjusts slightly, but still allowing themselves to stick to the innovation and simplicity of their products.
Whether you’re a loyal Apple or Android user, what are you thoughts on this possibility of the iPhone’s having a larger screen?
