Apple Applied to Trademark “iWatch”
Newest Apple hype is they supposedly applied to trademark the name “iWatch”. The application was apparently submitted on June 3rd in Japan. This could potentially be a revolutionary step for Apple to bring a smart watch to the market.
Accorrding to Business Insider, a person checks their phone about 150 times per day. The iWatch would allow a person to be able to check their phone’s activity right from the watch. Instead of pulling out your phone 150x a day, you can easily have it set to notify you on the iWatch.
Depending on the cost and functionality of the potential iWatch, will depend on its popularity. Until we know more about the device, it is hard to say how beneficial it will be to the users.
It will be interesting to see what Apple’s intentions are with this new device. Maybe there will be more possibilities and capabilities with the iWatch than most of us are expecting. Especially after seeing the big changes with iOS, we can only hope for more surprises to come in the next few months to a year.
What are your thoughts on the possible new iWatch?
