Andy Averbuch Joins Blue Whale Web Solutions from AOL
Noted Software Engineer Joins Interactive Web and Mobile Services Firm
Wellington, FL, July 20, 2010—Blue Whale Web Solutions, Inc. is pleased to announce that Andy Averbuch has joined the firm.
Mr. Averbuch joins Blue Whale as Lead Software Engineer responsible for overseeing all iPhone and iPad application development projects. He previously served as Senior Software Engineer at AOL, where he was instrumental in leading the Key Experiences Interactive Media team into the iPhone App space. His programmatic and creative strengths are on display in iPhone apps for Engadget, TUAW (The Unofficial Apple Weblog), MMA Fighting and Pixcetera, which have collectively been downloaded more than one million times.
Gregg Weiss, President of Blue Whale Web Solutions, Inc. sought out Averbuch for this newly created position. “Andy has been a personal friend of mine for more than eight years. For the past two years I’ve been encouraging him to bring his considerable skills to Blue Whale. I couldn’t be more pleased that Andy has joined the company and is bringing his experience and expertise to our mobile app division.
